In Mati’s words: “Tennis is my life project. When I train and, especially, when I play, I feel like I'm floating.
When some play doesn't go the way I expected, I feel like it's very hard but this motivates me to get up every morning to improve.
I see myself in the next 5 years playing tennis professionally, dedicating myself to it. As a goal in my career, my dream would be to be on the main board at a Grand Slam, and hopefully play in a Roland Garros.
Mati’s passion for tennis runs in his family. His father and coach, Guillermo, played professionally and achieved being among the five best JUNIOR tennis players in Argentina in the end of 80s.
In that decade, after playing in a tennis club in Rennes (French Britain) and also in some clubs in Switzerland, Guillermo settled in Mallorca where he began his career as a tennis coach.
